The Unknown Soldier

Quartered in snow, silent to remain, when the bugle calls, they shall rise and march again. The India Gate stands as a symbol of gratitude to the martyrs of World War II, to all those unknown soldiers. Shot on a cold and rainy night in New Delhi, a group of soldiers with the India Gate brightly illuminated by the yellow street lights in the backdrop. The photograph won the first prize in the 2015 Inter medicos Photography Contest , an intercollegiate arts festival among the medical schools in Kerala.
